Yes, I think that TakingITGlobal has given me an opportunity to network with various youth globally, and to gain a better understanding of what is happening internationally. As well I believe that TIG can do even more in terms of creating an inclusive environment for young people to network, gather ideas, and reflect upon their personal challenges, especially with regards to youth in Africa. Specifically, it is the people in these rural and agricultural communities whose daily struggles and interdependence on natural resources, which have been largely ignored by the bordering urban population, inspires me.
